Devil in Jersey city, you can hear a slight tone of emo in there at times and what the song is really about may bother you when you listen to it next time. translate it word for word then listen to it and tell you don't have an emo feeling

My thoughts exactly, Dilbert! Who the fuck cares who Coheed sounds like or what genre they fall under?! So many people nowdays are so bent on labeling everything. I don't care who they are, where they came from, or whether their music style is country, pop, emo, rock, or whatever! Coheed rocked my world years ago and in me they have a fan forever! If you don't like C&C, then don't listen! Simple as that! Stop making everything so damn complicated!

“TO EACH HIS OWN” What you may find awful, the next person could find beautiful. While I neither agree or disagree with Kyle Brady, I personally think it's YOU who needs to “Open Your Mind”! If all singer's voices sounded as perfect and wonderful as you think they should, then the music world would be a pretty F**ked up place! I sure as hell don't want to listen to a bunch of bands that all have the same vocals! Besides the music, the vocals is what helps to bring individuality to a band.

My husband's favorite band is Coheed and Cambria and I'm pretty sure, but not altogether certain that that line, “pull the trigger and the nightmare stops” comes from a point in the story when the writer of the story has to enter his story to kill someone because a voice is tell him that its the only way to stop having nightmares about this woman he used to be in love with.
The character (Ambellina, the prise sent to protect Claudio) he has to kill was influenced by the woman now giving him nightmares. But the voice was actually the voice of the bad guy. Oh snap! So he kills off the only protection Claudio has! Dang!
My husband tells me these things when we listen to the band in the car, so I could be way off base. Eh…
But seriously, Coheed and Cambria= not emo. They're a talented group of individuals who sing about a rather powerful story. So stop being bitches and deal.
