You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot further the brotherhood of many by encouraging class hatred. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn. You cannot build character and courage by taking away mans initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.

Attributed to Abraham Lincoln, but actually penned by William J. H. Boetcker.

When an American President is elected, regardless of the margin of majority, they are given the highest Office achievable in the country, arguably the world, and are afforded a number of luxuries, not the least of which is respect. Until they prove themselves unworthy of the title of President, as a handful have done previously, the President should be respected and treated decently – so why is President Obama being treated otherwise?

1) Money has been spent (wasted) at a rate that is unsustainable and criminal.
2) Health Care reform (More Spending) will bankrupt what is left of our economy.
3) Cap and Trade will tax businesses that are struggling to survive and further job loss.
4) The people around this president are scary at best, with political views that are contrary to our countries forefathers.
5) People opposed to Socialism and Communism will rightly oppose this president and his radical ideas.
6) Watch what he does not what he says.
